Film Festival

Film Test 1

This is my first edit for my film festival scene. For this first edit all I did was gather the footage that we took, I sorted the footage out and then created the story on my desktop of my laptop. Then I went onto Premiere Pro and added in each part of the story in order. Next I cut each clip down to make the clips fit and so the story makes sense. We had some problems with the sound recording but, luckily the camera audio sounds just as good so that should be fine. I also had to overlap some of the clips so when the camera is showing something else the audio carries on making the scene not seem weird. Below are some screenshots of what it looks like so far.

Film Test 2

This is my 2nd and last film recording. During this edit I added in my voice over the recording to make it seem as if my character was in deep thought. I also added in better clips and made the clips snappier so the short film scene looked even better. We only used one camera to get all these different shots, but it worked out fine and looked good. We also forgot a few things with the audio so had a problem trying to get the poll and different items for the boom pole audio microphone, and even after messing around to get all of this equipment we forgot headphones, so the audio being played is from the camera. Overall I think that what we captured as well with the beginning introduction scenes of showing the crime scene, and the beginning dialogue of what has happened, all these small things we added made the short film scene much better. If I could change some things I would've made sure we remembered all the equipment and also given me and Danielle enough time to remember our lines so we didn't have to go off script or mess up our lines a few times, but overall I like it and down below are some screenshots of changes I made.
